Alaska Event Management is owned and operated by Mickela Olson, a lifelong Alaskan resident that has been working in the travel and hospitality industry in Alaska since 1995.

Mickela began working as a waitress/housekeeper at a remote lodge on the Denali Highway in 1995 and has since held positions in reservations, supervisory capacities, contract hire and management in Anchorage, Alaska until launching Alaska Event Management in 2010.
